A new website - www.remunicipalisation.org - goes live today to highlight the growing trend to return failing privately managed water services to public management. Just this month, the Mayor of Paris announced that the city would be returning services to public management from 2009. France - arguably the heartland of privatised water services - is at the forefront of the remunicipalisation trend that is also manifesting itself in parts of South America, North America and Africa. Increased tariffs and a failure to deliver on promised improvements have left water multinationals facing increasing opposition from local communities and politicians. Some have taken steps to end contracts with private operators. Others are considering doing so. The remunicipalisation tracker ( www.remunicipalisation.org) provides case studies from these communities - giving details of the problems faced and the victories won.

Citeam acum câteva zile că zoso a trecut înapoi la vechiul furnizor de găzduire, nemulţumit fiind de VPS-ul folosit.

I-am sugerat atunci o soluţie deşteaptă de la 3Tera, dar cred că nu a fost suficient de impresionat.

Există o categorie aparte de oameni pe lumea asta şi domnii de la Urban fac parte din ea.
Pe scurt: cel puţin în trecut au trimis mesaje nesolicitate;
dovadă sunt cel puţin raportările (neoficiale) de la rbl.sns.ro: http://rbl.sns.ro/spammer/show/2033 si

Alte raportări au fost trimise la ANRCTI de către Bogdan Manolea şi după o bună bucată de timp, ANRCTI a spart buboiul şi a dat prima amendă.

Ce aş fi făcut eu dacă eram în locul celor de la Urban ?
Aş fi tăcut mâlc, aş fi invitat părţile la o discuţie informală, mi-aş fi rezolvat problemele tehnice (inclusiv cele ca şi astea), aş fi cerut de-listarea din RBL şi aş fi cerut un audit independent.
Dacă făceau asta, domnii de la Urban câştigau toată consideraţia.

Am trait sa ajung vremurile în care autorităţile româneşti iau măsuri împotriva mesajelor nesolicitate.

Am observat ca toate mesajele nesolicitate trimise din Romania au un header comun.
Acest header este o secvenţă de text din interiorul mesajului (nu apare explicit pe ecranul cititorului) şi are valoarea:
X-Mailer: GreenMail
Header-ul este pus automat de programul de expediere, fiind (dacă vreţi) echivalentul unei etichete roşii pe o cutie de biscuiţi: “Atenţie, aceşti biscuiţi conţin făină de oase“.
