Necazul de la BancPost si ce poţi face

Frauda serioasă de la BancPost ne arată că trebuie să fii cu ochii-n patru şi să n-ai încredere în nimeni, mai ales în România. Scenariul cel mai vehiculat este scurgerea de informaţii din interiorul băncii către jmecheraşii ce au extras în total între 200.000 şi 300.000 de euro.

Zice domnul Mihai Bozga, directorul BancPost:

“Retragerile suspecte au început pe 1 mai, iar noi am luat decizia de a restricţiona tranzacţiile în doar câteva ore. Pe ansamblu, cu tot cu retragerile din Bulgaria putem vorbi de o fraudă de maximum 200.000-300.000 de euro”

Ce poţi face tu să împiedici astfel de fraude ?

mai deschide un cont separat de cel al cardului si ţine majoritatea banilor acolo;
cere livrarea salariului direct în contul ‘ascuns’, nu în cel de card;
transferă bani din spate (contul ascuns) în faţă (contul de card) doar la nevoie, cardul având doar banii imediat necesari (desigur, pentru asta trebuie o aplicaţie de internet banking să nu fugi de fiecare dată la bancă);
schimbă periodic pin-ul cardului (facilitatea asta nu e disponibilă oriunde);
asigură-te că banca ta are o limită maximă de extragere zilnică de numerar;
don’t keep all your eggs in the same basket – mai ţine şi un cont în altă bancă;
nu în ultimul rând, nu te încrede în niciun mesaj care zice că vine din partea băncii; un simplu telefon de verificare îţi poate salva averea.

Shelly D. Farnham is the co-founder and social architect at Waggle Labs,
